Sari Sandler graduated from AAS Moscow in 2018 and pursued a degree in Graphic Design at Rhode Island School of Design (one of the top-ranked design schools in the world). She is currently in her second year.

While at AAS, Sari participated in a range of Penguin Life activities and was a captain of the Penguin JV Volleyball team in her senior year. She was also involved in a variety of High School clubs like the National Art Honor Society, Kids in the Community (KIK), Peer Helpers, and Literary Magazine

"Looking back at AAS there was so many opportunities provided. I look back at it as a time that I accomplished  so much in such a short time.

And the friends and the community, I know some of them are going to last me a life time, so I am very grateful!"

Not wanting to waste time during the recent pandemic-related lockdowns, Sari completed a Business and Marketing Course at the Harvard Business School online.

Also, in the summer of 2020 Sari was stuck in Moscow due to flight restrictions and decided to reconnect with AAS Moscow to find ways to give back to the school community.  Sari started to work part-time as a substitute teacher and was soon offered a paid internship with AAS Moscow's Community Relations Team.  Sari is currently working closely with AAS Moscow's visual designer on developing the concept and visuals for this year's school's yearbook.  Sari had a challenging task to translate our school's courageous spirit and core values into a visual design for our annual yearbook publication. After working on the yearbook's Senior's pages Sari shared heartfelt wishes to our 72 upcoming graduates:

"I wish you motivation. I wish you to have motivation to move forward, and I also wish you luck!"

In addition to continued online university courses, Sari took on a variety of jobs and made all of them work!

Below is a video interview with Sari from January 2021.
