It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of AAS Class of 2021 alumnus, Pablo Sole Canales.

Pablo suffered a serious skiing accident on January 12, 2022 and died shortly after being transported to a hospital in Zaragosa, Spain.

Pablo attended AAS Moscow in grades 7 & 8 in 2015-2017 and returned for grades 11 & 12 in 2019-2021. Pablo’s brother Miguel was also an AAS student in 2015-2017.

“Being part of AAS Moscow was a major milestone in Pablo’s life and in ours. Pablo took out of AAS plenty of friends, knowledge, and values that were an integral part of his life.” – Pablo’s parents

AAS Moscow community members remember Pablo as hardworking, dedicated, friendly, and a silent leader. Pablo left a lasting positive impact on the AAS community, his teachers, coaches, classmates, and teammates.

AAS Moscow students have set up a board to honor Pablo’s life where they share messages and thoughts.

“My idea of a successful person is someone that enjoys what he does and is happy not for the money or material things they have, but happy and grateful for their relationships, family, and they enjoy their daily routine.” - Pablo Sole Canales

The AAS community sends Pablo’s family our deepest condolences.
